We had an extra long and busy 4th of July weekend since Allen was off from Thursday till Sunday. And we made good use of all our days which meant we were hardly home. We had a few playdates, visited a few beaches, ate a few family dinners at Nana's and got to see just a few fireworks. Unfortunately there was a major glitch in the Hilo show this year and supposedly they're gonna put another one on at a later date. It wasn't that big of a deal for us since Esme claims she doesn't like them anyways. She had lots of fun with the sparklers though.
We thought Chan would sleep a little better since we've been so busy each day but he keeps waking up in the early morning and won't go back to sleep. We're thinking it's from the 2 new teeth he got this past week and we're hoping the pain dies down soon. He got his left and right lower lateral incisors just 4 days apart. He's still eating just fine and hasn't had any other issues. I know we've had some new words too but I can't think of them at this time.
We're still slowly unpacking more boxes.

Our fireworks show was a dud but our sunset that night was awesome! It started out gray like this and then changed to pink, purple, red and orange over Mauna Kea.
We took the kids to the beach we got married at and they had fun in the sand.
