We lucked out on the plane ride to Hawaii because we got a row all to ourselves so Esme could really stretch out and our laps got a break. The hardest part was trying to keep her from rolling over on the seat. Otherwise she did her usual - eat, sleep and play a little. Thankfully no fussing or blowouts!
Yesterday she spent the whole day outside and thanks to her first little wetsuit and tons of sunscreen she didn't get sunburned. She's such a trooper cause she just goes with the flow too. We lathered her all up in the morning, zipped her in her suit and either carried her in the water or let her ride in her floatie. She just took it all in with no fuss. All the time in the sun made for a tired baby by the end of the day so she had no problem with naps or falling asleep. And she's transitioned to the time zone change with no problem either. It was easy to keep her up the first night with all the excitement that all the cousins, aunties, and uncles bring :)
